I'm glad to finally have a way to express how proud I am to see not just a latina, but any woman of color giving today's youth such a positive example of what we can achieve. I think a lot of people just focus on the work you did on sesame street. I'm looking at the whole big picture; the fundraisers, the speeches, awards, going back for events in the bronx, and so on. I really respect and give thanks for being such a positve role model for myself and others not only actress but as a person and as a woman. I am a black female former marine, who wants to help make positive changes in the future. I am only 24, and already have others looking to me as a role model.
